Meet Sheine, Lead Tattoo Artist and co-owner of Outliers Ink Tattoo Studio in Birmingham.
Sheine specialises in tattooing realism tattoo, fine line tattoo and blackwork tattoo and her belief is that great tattoos should be for everyone. She has a wealth of experience in tattooing black and brown skin tones, cover-ups and has created a space that everyone, and women in particular, feel confident and comfortable to be in.
She masters various other tattoo styles, including but not limited to colour, micro-realism and cyber sigilism and loves to collaborate with her clients to create unique custom pieces they can wear with pride.

Yes, tattoos can hurt, but pain varies by person and placement. Arms, face, and legs seem to hurt the least. While wrists, ankles, and ribs are moderately painful. Chest, palms, and knees hurt most according to our clients. Everyone’s tolerance differs, the best is to communicate with your artist, stay hydrated and try doing breathing exercise.
At the end of your appointment, we will provide you with personalised aftercare instructions. Here are some general tips on how to look after your tattoo after your tattoo appointment.

No. In the same way that we would not expect another artist to steal one of our designs, we will not steal someone else’s work. We can use references to design something custom for you that is in a similar style.
