A Nose piercing is one of our favourite piercings visually because we love just how transformational it is to your face when placed correctly.
There are a number of variations for a nose piercing such as a high nose piercing, bridge piercing, rhino piercing and septum piercing. You can also get a double nose piercing.
We are often asked which side is the correct side for piercing? The answer is there is none, there are no rules other than to place it where it suits you best which is subjective and anatomically dependent. If you are getting a piercing in our studio in Birmingham. We will guide you on the day for the best placement but ultimately as long as it is safe to do so we will place it where you are most happy.
At Outliers Ink we will pierce you with sterile titanium jewellery only. Or if budget permits 14k gold as they are hypoallergenic and do not contain any nickel. This gives your piercings the best chance of healing well.
Nose piercings have a typical healing time of 2-4 months. After your piercing you will be provided with an aftercare kit along with aftercare advice for you to follow.
Nicole is out here changing lives one dot at a time! Her SMP skills are unmatched and whether it’s a piercing or SMP client they will all say the same thing, Nicole takes the time to make sure her work enhances and suits their features. They always leave with extra confidence.
Here in our Birmingham tattoo and piercing studio we will not pierce with a gun and our advice would be to avoid any establishment that does. They are terribly unhygienic, prone to malfunction, terrible for accuracy and a lot more traumatic for your tissue than a needle may ever appear to be. We only want the best for our clients and if you are reading this, I think it’s safe to assume you want the best for yourself too.
Septum piercing aside we will not pierce the area with a hoop to minimise infection risk. We adopt a safety-first approach and once healed you are free to wear whatever jewellery you desire. We often source exclusive pieces for our piercing clients in Birmingham, but let’s get the area healed and healthy first.
As with all tattoos and piercings, pain is subjective and different for each individual. Our clients often give this piercing a 3.5 out of 10 pain scale rating. The good news that everyone can agree on is that the piercing process itself is very quick so if there is any pain, it won’t be for long.
